The family and friends of Suzan Morris are uniting in Logan's honor to raise money to fund her next service dog. Please join us!

Logan's Legacy. As in life, Logan, Service Dog Extraordinaire continues to bring people together to celebrate the human canine bond.

While no dog could replace her, I choose to honor her by embracing the love and memories from our relationship and commit to forging an equally fulfilling relationship with her successor. I know that she will be guiding him or her from above.

All funds raised will go to a non-profit service dog organization and associated expenses with team training. The fundraising requirements of the ones I'm pursuing range from $1,500 plus two weeks of meals and lodging to $9,500. Applications are in process! I will keep you updated on our progress.

If I should surpass my goal, any excess funds will be applied to Logan's Legacy Scholarship Fund to help others with disabilities fundraise for their future partner. My hope is that their service dog impacts their life like Logan did mine.

Exciting news!!! The folks at Maine-based Mutt NOSE Best are donating $1 from every bottle sold on their website in November to Logan's Legacy!!!! And so are our friends at the Loyal Biscuit Co. in Rockland for in-store purchases! Some exciting news!!!

I wanted to thank all of our Logan Legacy's supporters and let you know about some exciting news!  We have a potential successor dog in training.  He's a Golden (of course!) named Friday, being raised by Logan's puppy raisers through a NH service dog organization, ACTS (Assistance Canine Training Services).  He was donated by Aquest Golden Retrievers and his great grandfather was Logan's father!  Things just fell into place and I can't help but think that Angel Logan had a paw in all this. 


Because over half of all service pups in training don't make it, we have a Plan B.  I'm also applying to various service dog organizations to get on their waiting list.  I'm in the middle of interviews to determine which would be the best fit. 

So it'll be a little while either way but I'll be sure to keep you updated!

A big thank you to our CA friend Lynn and her wonderful Guam Golden girl Carly. Lynn opened up her heart and home to this sweet dog and I'm sure that was Carly's ultimated Carpe Wag'em moment!
