I would like to raise funds so that Alaina Podmorow, founder of Little Women4 Little Women in Afghanistan can travel to the Kids are heroes day on October 24th in Maryland to spread awareness about her cause.

 

I am Alaina Podmorow and I am the founder of Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan.I am honoured to be invited to Kids are heroes day on Oct. 24th. Please help me fundraise so I can attend this event and spread the words "education=peace.

In the fall of 2006, Alaina Podmorow, who was then 9 years old, decided that something must be done to change the injustice that had befallen young girls in Afghanistan. Podmorow founded Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan and since then has recruited a powerful force of like- minded children who believe that education is a right not a privilege. To date, this army of activists from across Canada has raised over $100,000 and more importantly is raising awareness both locally and globally.Little Women believe that is everyone is educated peace will follow.
