In July 2009 I tipped the scales at 444lbs. I was fortunate to have life saving RNY weight loss surgery on July 27th 2009 - So far I've lost an incredible 236lbs and have a whole new lease on life!
Sadly though, not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to WLS - Seeing a need the non-profit Weight Loss Surgery Foundation For America (wlsfa.org) was formed.
I will be attempting to raise at least $1000 for the WLSFA by doing a trifecta of my crazy bucket list items in Vegas on May 11-13 2011.
1. Sky Diving over Las Vegas
2. Sky Jumping off the Stratosphere
3. Zip-Line Bootleg Canyon @ 50+mph
There's a two day WLSFA Meet & Greet conference being held May 13-15 at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Vegas - Where assuming I survive in one piece I will be giving them the $1000!
