Show Your Love Tomorrow

This is Lavinia’s sister, Jennifer.  As Valentine’s Day approaches, I have been thinking of my sister, and how this will be her first Valentine’s Day without Joey in more than 2 decades.  Tomorrow also marks 7 weeks since Joey died – and just 5 weeks ago we were all together for Joey’s memorial.  I can’t help but think that even as our lives move on, Lavinia, Grace, Joshua and Jacob are just beginning to mourn the loss of their husband and father - just beginning to find their way through the darkness of grief and loss.

Please, consider sending them a note of love on Valentine’s Day by text or Facebook.  And, if you can, please make a contribution to the fund we set-up for Lavinia.  Your gift of $10, $20, or $30 will be greatly appreciated and, together with the gifts from other friends and family, will help Lavinia weather the financial hardships ahead.   Thank you – and much love to you on Valentine’s Day.

Tomorrow is the memorial and paddle-out for Joey at 12:30 pm at Pensacola Public Beach.  We hope you will join the family in this remembrance of Joey - whether you are there in-person or in-spirit.
