Daniel is a 6yr old Autistic boy, and the one thing we want to give him are the tools to have a successful life, such as with an iPad.
An iPad may not seem like something you'd normally want to give a 6 yr old boy. For Daniel, however, this device can provide so much more than games. With an iPad, he'd be able to go more places, have easier transitions, learn to construct complete sentences and much more.
We had hoped for Christmas we'd be able to afford a tablet for him. Sadly, all of our Christmas money is being used to move into an apartment as our current living situation has become difficult.
So I'm turning to all of you, my family, friends and readers. I hope to make this a reality for Daniel.
What's better is that his school has already said they would utilize the iPad in the classroom for him. So it really will turn his life around.

Thanks to each and every one of you. Because of the donations we have raised both online and offline, we have been able to purchase the iPad for Daniel. With the help of www.ihelpspecialneeds.com, we will be receiving it today. As well, they have been able to get over $100 off on cost, so despite raising less money than we hoped, we will be able to get more apps, plus insurance and a case.
Thanks to all!

"Good luck...can't wait to hear you've reached your goal. I can remember what it was like when my son couldn't communicate. We found a way to facilitate communication and now he talks our ears off. I hope for the same for you. Merry Christmas!"
