Willow is a 7-year-old silver torbie (tortoise shell/tabby) DSH with a wonderfully nutty personality. She can sometimes be found rolling around on the floor biting her own feet. If we are gone for more than 10 hours, Willow will greet us at the door with a kitty reprimand. We just adore her.

Willow has a mast cell tumor above her eye. Consultations with veterinarians have been dismal because with my husband out of work, we just cannot afford the $800 or more they are asking for the surgery required to remove the tumor. Although the tumor is not life-threatening, it is spreading through Willow's scratching and rubbing, and without treatment, this kitty may lose her eye. To make matters worse, she has started limping on a paw that was once injured badly in a fight with another cat. We treated the injury, which we were told was an infection coming from a bite, but now, two years later, she is limping. If we could raise $1100, we could give Willow the medical care she needs.
