Global Potentials model is to partner w/ urban schools in order to help young people experience immersive projects and increase leadership skills. The amount will help goes toward the youth for the international transport and education on the culture

Global Potential (GP), the famous flagship project of a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, called Globalhood, Inc. GP is a youth leadership development and social entrepreneurship program for low-income, urban youth, ages 15 to 25, from Boston and New York City. Young leaders participate in Global Potential’s programming over the course of a year and a half. To begin, they are engaged in 6 months of intensive workshops, leading up to a 1.5 months of field placement in a rural village in the Dominican Republic or Nicaragua. Young people work in solidarity with each other and their host communities in order to create innovative solutions to poverty and to generate opportunities for intercultural exchange.

Global Potential provide urban youth from low-income communities with the skills and perspective that enable them to effect positive change in their lives, communities, and the global community, through engagement in leadership training, social entrepreneurship, international cultural exchange and service learning. This amount will help goes toward the total cost per youth of 2000, that includes international transport to Christelle Abraham's  placement, education on the culture and issues facing the community
