Friends and family of Janice Porter ask you to contribute to this important fundraiser to cover medical expenses.

On January 23, Janice will begin treatments at An Oasis of Healing cancer clinic in Mesa, Arizona. She chose this clinic for its blend of strong nontoxic treatments, raw food diet, and low-dose chemotherapy, all of which promise to bring her into a healthy condition.

This is a critical time for treatment. Janice’s breast cancer widely metastasized last year into other areas of her body, seriously hampering her ability to lead an active life, and causing her to leave an enjoyable teaching job at Shasta College, which was her primary source of income.

Thanks to a recent inheritance, Janice can pay for one month at the clinic. To receive the best treatment, it’s important for her to stay two months, with several months of aftercare visits, and that is her goal.

Janice has no funds for the second month of treatment or for aftercare visits, so we are reaching out to friends for contributions of any amount. Our goal is to raise $30,000 by Valentine’s Day. Your contribution will be a great help toward Janice’s medical expenses, and will help extend her stay, whether we make the goal or not.
