Director and Veterinary Technician were walking through County facility and saw a dog infested with ticks lying on kennel floor. Dog was emaciated, could not stand, had no food, could not reach the water and no blanket on concrete floor. We had to act before the dog died.
Kiera is emaciated, has tick fever and valley fever. She can barely walk and cannot turn her head to the left. She weighs 30 pounds and should weigh double. The vet reports this is the worse case of Valley Fever he has seen.
