Three years ago today my little nephew Evan was in the hospital a very sick little boy with a blood sugar of 663 the normal blood sugar for a child is 80-120. The diagnoses was your son has type 1 diabetes and will have to take insulin for the rest of his life. Well that was one year ago and today with all the great doctors help and a wonderful thing called an insulin pump Evan can be a crazy 8 year old boy and lead a normal life. One day there will be a cure and until then we live every day to its fullest and pray that that day comes soon , not just for Evan for everybody in the world who has diabetes.
