Raise a glass for Cabrini Connections! We're having a wine-tasting fundraiser from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, at Cellar Rat, 1811 W. North Ave. Tickets are $25 for wine and appetizers and because of the size of the space, and the event is limited to 35 guests.

To RSVP for this event, just "donate" $25 (or more if you would like), and that will get you on the list. This event is limited to ONLY 35 people, so the first 35 people who pay the $25 will lock their spots into this event.

Owner Dean Schlabowske is donating the wine for the tasting and the use of his space, so 100 percent of your admission fee will go to Cabrini Connections.

Dean will choose six wines for guests to try. The theme? Wines that pair well with turkey. He is also donating 10 percent of what attendees spend on bottles of wine back to the program. This is the perfect opportunity to stock up on bottles of wine you'll need to bring to all of those holiday parties and dinners -- or need to serve at your own holiday parties!

Or, you can buy some bottles to enjoy with dinner after the tasting at a nearby restaurant with a BYOB policy. There are at least 10 BYOs within a mile of Cellar Rat.
