This group is supporting rescuing the cats from the 10th Life Sanctuary in Clewiston, FL through working with The Cat Depot located in Sarasota, FL.

Maury Swee, owner of the 10th Life Sanctuary promised life-long care in a stress free environment for sick or unwanted cats. Instead, he conducted scientific research on them and housed them in deplorable conditions uncared for without basic necessities for a healthy life. Ultimately Swee was forced to surrender the cats to authorities. The actual number of cats has yet to be reported with quotes ranging from 450 to over 600.

Vets believe about two-thirds of the cats are healthy, friendly and ready for adoption. Many, though, are feral and need special accommodations. The bottom line is that they all need help now.
