As many of you know, my niece, Cassidy was diagnosed at the age of two with Leukemia.  You can only imagine the struggle that her parents, Matt and Katie, have been through.  I am happy to report that Cassidy is in remission and living a happy and healthy life. 

However, in the after math of cancer, Cassidy's parents have struggled with high medical costs and lost wages.  Despite having insurance, Cassidy's medical bills exceeded $50,000 to the wonderful cancer center that cured her, Memorial Sloan Kettering.  Her parents have been making small steady payments along the way but they still owe $38,000 which in this economy seems insurmountable.  The hospital recently became aggressive in trying to collect the remainder. 

All donations from this fundraiser will be made payable directly to Memorial Sloan Kettering for Cassidy's hospital bill.  Thank you for your support.
