Chicago Academy for Advanced Technology is a brand new school and are in need of your much appreciated help and donations to make our inaugural year the very best that it can be! Please help our students have the best freshman year they can!
Chicago Academy for Advanced Technology is a new Chicago public high school dedicated to instilling excellence in today's youth. We are desinged and led by the Center for Polytechnical Education, and we boast a unique curriculum infused with 21st century skills and a burning desire to succeed. What we do not have, however, is proper funding to help our students actualize the goals that they have set for themselves (goals such as gaining two to three grade levels per semester) this coming school year. Our students are walking in the day after Labor Day, ready to work diligently and tirelessly for the next school year. Please help reward their efforts by making a donation today.
One such goal that Chi-tech staff and students have gleaming in their eyes is to create and distribute the first annual Chi-Tech Pythons yearbook. The doors to Chi-Tech will open for the first time September 08, 2009 to welcome between 150 and 180 excited freshman from all over Chicago. As these students embark on the broad and inspiring journey ahead of them, we, the faculty and students at Chi-Tech, would like to document the magnificent gains and advances that have occurred with a yearbook.
This may seem like a simple request, however we do not have money to provide the most basic materials necessary to make this dream a reality. We do not have money to purchase cameras or printers, or even to sign a contract with a publishing company to print the yearbooks.
Please do not let Chi-Tech's first year be commemerated simply with a Facebook or Myspace profile!

Any donation, no matter how large or small will be immensely appreciated.

Hugs for Chicago Academy of Advanced Technology.
