Stones & Waves is a nonprofit veterinary clinic and developing wildlife sanctuary in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. We need help feeding all of our rescued and abandoned animals. We care for 60 + cats, 8 + dogs, 9 monkeys and much more!

In Nicaragua, cats and dogs are not considered part of the family nor are Nicaraguan families able to financially care for them. Many dogs roam the streets, looking for food in garbage cans and if they get sick  they will never receive veterinary assistance.

Wildlife are commonly taken as pets and  often abandoned when they mature, turn aggressive and become difficult to handle.

We offer a great service for our community by providing free veterinary services and spay/neuter clinics to control the dog and cat population. We also provide a space where rescued animals can live;  animals that otherwise would not have a home or be able to survive in the wild.

All dogs and cats are up for adoption, however the number of animals we care for increases weekly! The Animal Food Fund is our only hope at keeping all of our animals fed.

Please help us continue this well needed work for the animals of our community!
