Alan\'s Stroke Recovery Fund for
Alan Halderman
alansrecovery

Alan suffered a massive stroke while on vacation by himself  on Catalina Island, Wednesday, May 6. Alan lost his ability to speak and communicate as a result of his stroke! He is suffering from a communication disorder called Aphasia. The stroke damaged the part of his brain that controls language and communication! He has severe expressive deficiencies and mild receptive deficiencies. In other words, he understands most speech, with some mild confusion, however, he cannot speak, write or communicate in anyway even a simple need or want. Try to imagine dealing with this disorder for one day of your life! As you can imagine it is unbelievably frustrating! We are desperate to get Alan into intense speech therapy! University of Michigan is the leader of Aphasia research. They have an intense 6 week therapy session that Alan could benefit from tremendously! We are working to raise money to enroll Alan in this program. Please support Alan in any way you can. No amount is too small! It all adds up! For every dollar you donate by Sunday, September 27 you will receive a raffle ticket at his Fundraiser at Hi Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA. You do not need to be present to win! There are lots of great prizes!

Other ways you can help:

1. Pray for Alan's recovery, especially his ability to communicate. We need a miracle!

2. Please tell everyone you know about this great opportunity to help Alan get his speech back! Email friends and family the link to this website! Share the link on your Facebook page!
