As most of you know my beautiful and loving Mother, Donna was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer about 2 months ago. It’s been a very quick and scary 2 months. Our lives have turned upside down within days. The surgery happened within a month and she is recovering rapidly after a double mastectomy, now if only that was it…. Starting in October Donna will start radiation, followed by 8-12 weeks of aggressive Chemo Therapy. When the cancer is gone she will then have another reconstructive surgery. I can't even begin to imagine the feeling she is having: fear, anxiety, depression. But if anyone knows Donna she is still as happy as always, laughing, passionate, and always on the go. My Mom is truly amazing and one of the strongest women I know.



When you look at cancer and you see what it can do to someone you love so much, you are filled with all sorts of emotions: you’re sad because she’s in pain, your angry because this isn’t fair; you’re just upset because what in the world would I do without her? But I keep telling myself, “This is not a time to be sad, angry, or upset”. This is a time to be thankful for what we have and who we have; to be thankful that we have the medicine to fix these types of illnesses, and to thank god for everything we have been given. So Im using this opportunity to bring friends and family closer together, and hopefully bring awareness to the type of diseases that are out there, and to shed light as to how we can deal with them.



I made this charity fund not only to help my family with doctor bills, medical stays, and surgeries but to show my Mom that her friends and family do care about her. Everytime someone donates it will count as a solid reminder of how much she is loved! These are the things that will assure that my Mom has a healthy recovery.

My Goal is to raise $10,000. After all medical bills are paid all extra money will be donated to The National Breast Cancer Foundation.
