We’d like to invite you to participate in the Southwest Youth Collaborative’s 1st Annual 5k Walk for the Human Rights of Children, a fundraiser to address the rights and basic human needs of children, youth and families living in high poverty areas on the southwest side of Chicago.

As part of our effort to connect with local charities, we’re coming together to participate in the upcoming Chicago Half Marathon & 5k. With your support, our staff, board, families and friends hope to raise $17,000 that will help to provide programs and services that engage youth in positive youth development and raise awareness that at-risk children have a right to basic human needs—Peace, Safety, Education, Healthy Food, Shelter, Positive Development, Care, Happiness, and Fun, just to name a few.
